Evan Winter

Born in England, nurtured in Central Africa, and of South American descent, it isn’t surprising that Evan Winter has a few stories to tell. As a produced playwright, short film writer/director, and ex-camera jockey, it follows that he’s a technical, talented, and natural storyteller capable of shooting his own spots.

Indeed, when you consider his background (Evan got to start writing treatments for videos that went on to win Junos, CMT Awards, MuchMusic, and MuchMoreMusic awards), it seems fitting that he developed as a conceptually based director with a keen visual sense. However, if you were to ask, he eschews this pseudo-psychobabble in favour of saying he has a ‘passion for film and an overwhelming desire to tell stories.’
